Cochlear Implants

An important feature of MITTA foundation health care initiative for the hearing impaired children by the gift of hearing through free Cochlear Implant surgery.

We supports and helps children from slums and rural area to access ear and hearing care services. The younger the kid receives an implant the easier for him or her to listen and speak. After the Cochlear Implant Surgery the child needs Auditory Verbal Therapy to help him or her listens and acquire speech and language. The specially trained teachers, audiologist and speech therapist of MITTA foundations do the follow up of the surgery. They also work closely with the parents to educate them about the stages of the development for speech and language.
